Todor Stevanović

 

Тодор СтевановићBorn on March 9th 1937 in Zalužanj. Completed art studies (1963) in the class of Đorđe Andrejević Kun and received Master of Arts Degree in the class of Nedeljko Gvozdenović at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. In addition to painting he does rawings, graphics, film, ceramics, mosaic, alternate areas of free media, art review, art theory, philosophy and literature. He is a member of ULUS (Association of Fine Artists of Serbia) and UKS (Association of Writers of Serbia). He regularly has individual exhibitions since 1956 and participates at art exhibitions both in Serbia and abroad. He was Yugoslav representative at the venice Biennale in 1999. His artworks are kept in the National Museum, Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of the City of Belgrade, in the many museums and galleries in the ex-Yugoslavia, as well as in England, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Canary Islands, Australia, South America, United States of America, Canada, Austria, Sweden, Russia, etc. Information about him can be found in the Encyclopedia Britannica and the international Art directory Who's Who, 1987-88.
